The Place Where I Talk About Music

sometimes i have coherent and understandable thoughts about an album and sometimes i don't. most of the time i don't
starting with my current favorites and working down
genres/influences come from Rate Your Music except for when i think Rate Your Music is wrong

i heavily recommend looking into the backstory of this album, but if you're too lazy, basically: they were gonna tour to support Escape From Noise (if i had a nickel...) but realized "shit we're gonna lose money". instead of just saying "hey we need to cancel the tour" like a normal band, they made a fake press release saying "hey so Christianity Is Stupid caused a murder and the FBI has us on house arrest. tour canceled whoops" and it spread like wildfire even though the source is that they made it the fuck up. pretty cool statement about how the news doesn't check their facts. funniest shit they've ever done except for getting sued by U2
